Engage your faculty or administrative unit communicator
If your faculty or administrative unit has a communicator, engage them early in the process so that they can help create visibility and impact for your event and ensuring the event details get shared inside and outside campus.
Centennial and UBC Events calendars
Make sure the campus community (and beyond) are aware of your event and have quick access to event details.
- List your event on the UBC Events Calendar
- If the event has received funding support from the Centennial Initiatives Fund, contact the Centennial Office to list your event on the Centennial website
Use the Centennial branded digital signage templates to communicate your event to students, faculty, staff and visitor to your building or facility.

Central brand social media channels
Use the #UBC100 hashtag in your posts to reach those interested in the Centennial on Twitter. For greater engagement, include an image for your event in all social shares. Link back to event details on your website, UBC100.ca or the UBC Events Calendar.
